In my opinion, you can't get much farther away from Colorado Springs than this subdivision...unless you're looking in Bear Trap Ranch. This community is probably too far if you have to commute to Colorado Springs...it would be approximately a 1-hour commute or longer. If you work in Cripple Creek then it would be a real good choice. Some of the homes in the community have gorgeous views...possibly some of the best!

Cripple Creek Mountain Estates is a covenanted community located in Cripple Creek, Colorado, just southwest of Woodland Park, CO off Teller County Road 1. The community offers a heated swimming pool, fitness center, library, and a fenced playground for the owners of the properties within the subdivision. There is an active HOA and the dues are mandatory at $225.00/year for the first lot and $71.50/year for subsequent lots. 

Water is Association Water which means the community has a central water system. Visit www.mountainmutual.com to get water information for this community. Water is drawed from the wells located in the Gillette Flats area of Teller County and fed to each individual property owner's cistern. They are federal and state regulated and the water is tested accordingly. The water is required to be metered. To reach Mountain Mutual, you may call (719) 689-2527.

Properties are on septic tanks for waste.

Household pets and two horses are allowed, but the shelter must be kept in the rear of the main dwelling. No chickens. 

Campers are allowed to be stored on your lot, but they must be parked at least 25 feet away from any public road and must have current license plates.

Fencing is allowed, but must be approved. Chicken wire and barbed wire are prohibited.

No discharge of firearms, to include bow and arrow, is allowed.
