Woodrock is a private, gated mountain community in Divide, Colorado, known for its natural beauty, large acreage lots, and direct access to outdoor recreation. Located just south of Mueller State Park and bordered by Dome Rock State Wildlife Area, Woodrock offers a true Colorado mountain living experience—quiet, scenic, and secluded.
This 300-acre neighborhood features spacious homesites from 2.5 to 5 acres, with elevations ranging between 8,000 and 9,600 feet. Many properties offer stunning views of Pikes Peak and surrounding forested ridgelines. The layout of the community provides both privacy and long-term access to protected land.
Community History
The land that is now Woodrock was once part of the Stoner Ranch, operated in the early 1900s by Lloyd and Rosina Stoner. In 1913, Stoner partnered with the Dome Rock Gold Mining Company to harvest timber, establishing a sawmill near today’s community entrance. The land changed hands in the 1960s and was developed into the Woodrock subdivision by the Myrick family in the 1970s. Today, there are 49 homes, most occupied full-time.

Woodrock Fishing Club
The Woodrock Fishing Club (WFC) enhances the outdoor lifestyle of the community by maintaining several stocked trout ponds exclusively for the use of Woodrock property owners and their guests. Membership is open to all current homeowners and long-term renters in good standing with the POA.
The club hosts seasonal events and encourages community participation through:
- Pond cleanup days — including shoreline maintenance and weed control
- Fishing and filleting tutorials — shared by resident anglers
- Winter pond activities — including ice fishing, skating, and a resident-favorite called Curshuffle
