Why Living in Woodland Park is THE BEST!

The weather in Woodland Park Colorado is just about perfect in my opinion. Whenever we leave to visit other places, humid and cold places, we're left with feeling why would we want to live anywhere but here? I refer to Woodland Park as PARADISE.

According to BestPlaces, Woodland Park averages 245 days of sunshine per year while the rest of the country averages 205. Other places say we get 300+ days of sunshine a year. All I can say is we get lots of sunshine. Way more than any other kind of weather.

The July high is around 78 degrees and not humid at all.

We do live at about 8,500 ft. in elevation so our weather can change quickly. When the sun goes down, you'll want a jacket. Even in July. It can get chilly without our beautiful sun due to the elevation.

People think we must get a lot of snow. We really don't. We get our biggest snows in the Spring, but we might get a dump at 15" and the next day it is melting. Just to give you an idea of what our crazy weather does here. Watch the timeline below.
