Even though Ranch Estates is located in Woodland Park, CO it's pretty rural. You would head west out of Woodland Park on Highway 24 and turn left on Edlowe Road. Head out that way a bit and then make a left on CR 281.

Ranch Estates Road and Fire Association dues are $250.00 per year. They are prorated when you move in and ensure the plowing of the roads. All of the roads are plowed when the snow fall reaches 2 to 3 inches. The association  maintains the roads all year long, using two plow trucks, road grader, sander and disc. You will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle in the winter.

Ranch estates has a nice community park. They have community meetings quarterly and get together in the park a few times a year.
