Wilson Lakes has an HOA called Wilson Lakes Sports Association. Dues are not mandatory, but if you choose to participate, they are for fishing, walking around the lake, the community garbage service, and use of the lodge and potluck participation. They are $300/year. 

The community borders Pike National Forest and there is a trailhead in the community.
